The durrrr challenge started at the beginning of the year and created a big buzz in the poker world, everyone wanted to railbird the action at the challenge tables on Full Tilt Poker. It was a big expectation to see the action at the nose bleed table limits, but something that most people did not see coming was the slow action in the challenge; it took them more than three months to reach 15k hands. Now the WSOP events have started and Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Patrik Antonius will most likely take part in the big events, so the challenge will be affected and will see less action. But hopefully the players will have the challenge as a priority and will continue to play it out.

There last session logged 874 hands and lasted a few minutes under three hours, Patrik increased his lead by $23k which at their table limits it less than half a buy in. It looks like durrrr‘s edge on the tournament it’s not a factor any more since Patrik got used to playing on four tables at a time pretty quickly. Now durrrr has to improve his game to shorten Patrik’s lead.
