Durrrr Increases Lead After Marathon Session
By durrrr Challenge | Posted on October 28, 2009
After a series of short, one to two hour sessions, Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius finally gave their fans something lengthy to talk about yesterday as they played multiple times over an eight hour period. All told, the two men played more than 2000 hands and for the third session in a row, durrrr was able to add to his lead on Patrik.
The day began with a bang as Tom and Patrik played the biggest pot of the sitting within half an hour. After three-betting from the big blind, durrrr flatted Antonius’ $10,800 four-bet and took a flop of
. After leading for $13,200 and getting bumped to $43,600 by Patrik, Dwan decided to push the rest of his chips in the middle and Patrik immediately called. Antonius tabled a flopped straight, but durrrr had plenty of outs with his two-pair and flush draw, and when the
fell on the river Tom scooped a massive $293,742 pot.
The rest of the session consisted of the inevitable swings that come with an eight hour high-stakes poker battle, but in the end Tom Dwan only added $82K to his lead, which considering the stakes isn’t much progress. However, durrrr has quietly built a substantial lead over the past few months, and he is now up $779,248 after 27,185 hands of play.

Durr gets his money in bad most every hand and has to draw out to win. His stupid luck will eventually run out and when it does I hope he goes broke for good.

If durrrr didn’t put it in bad as much as he does he wouldn’t get paid off the way he does. He is a little spew-tarded at times but overall his poker play is levels and levels above what you can even begin to fathom. There are so many factors that you don’t even begin to consider. BTW …in Supersystem, doesn’t Doyle emphasize how important it is to push your EDGE by getting it in behind a lot of the time? Either with lots of outs or lots of fold equity, or both. Try playing out of the box and you might learn a thing or two.
