This afternoon at 3pm ET, Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan decided to grace us with some durrrr Challenge action for the first time since March 14th. In their last session, a short but eventful nine-minute affair, durrrr widened his lead over Antonius to a staggering $2 million.
The two high stakes legends went at it for 2757 hands, which resulted in almost no change. They’ve now played 36,060 hands of the required 50K, with Dwan retaining a $1.9 million edge over Antonius.
In the biggest hand of this most recent tilt, durrrr opened his button to $1200 only to see Antonius bump it up to $3600. Dwan flatted and the two took a 7d Jd 3h flop. Apparently both players hit the board hard as after Patrik lead for $6K, Tom put in a raise and in the blink of an eye, all the money went into the middle. When the cards turned up, durrrr showed 7s 7c Qs 2h for middle set, while Patrik flipped Qd Qh 5d 5h for a pair of queens with a diamond flush draw and a backdoor heart draw. After the turn dropped the Jc and the river the 3d , durrrr dragged the $273K pot with Sevens full of Jacks.
